Trata-se da ligação entre um cirurgião e o seu paciente, neste caso, um bebé ainda por nascer... Este bebé sofria de uma doença chamada Espinha Bifida e, caso fosse retirado do utero da mãe, ele morreria...
Este cirurgião é dos unicos a terem esta capacidade de operar o feto, ainda no utero da mãe. A operação foi um sucesso e, quando o cirurgião se preparava para fechar a pequena incisão que tinha feito para alcançar o bebé, este esticou a mão (já perfeitamente formada) e agarrou um dos dedos do cirurgião, como se lhe estivesse a agradecer pela "vida" que o cirurgião tinha acabado de lhe dar.
Nas palavras do cirurgião: "foi o momento mais emocionante da minha vida".
